GREG LYNN

CEO and Executive Producer

Greg is an internationally recognized and seasoned entertainment and media business executive of 36 years standing, with a string of awards and nominations for his work.

Greg’s distinguished career in the entertainment business started in the music industry, where his prestigious talents as a marketeer, talent scout, promoter and brand builder were quickly recognized and sought after by the heavy hitting record labels CBS (Sony), RCA and EMI. And such was his reputation he was soon working with world renowned artists including Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Earth Wind and Fire, and Adam and the Ants.

As a creator and producer of live events, Greg has produced, directed and promoted concerts with Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Kiri Te Kanawa, and also worked with HRH The Prince of Wales (Symphony for the Spire) and HRH Princess Anne (The European Youth Olympic Games). Such significant ventures led to Simon Fuller (19 management) asking Greg to design, direct and produce The Spice Girls World Tour in 1997, which was to be preceded by two live concerts in Istanbul, sponsored by Pepsi. These concerts were televised by Fuji TV, and the broadcast became the most successful pay per view music concert in USA history, beating the previous record held by The Rolling Stones.

In 2004, seeking a change of direction, Greg founded the highly respected Chapman Entertainment, and entered the global world of Children’s Television where he was the Executive Producer of the four classic pre-school shows “Fifi and the Flowertots”, “Roary the Racing Car”, “Little Charley Bear” and “Raa Raa the Noisy Lion”. These four shows have been sold to over 160 territories and have become global brands generating over £500 million in retail sales so far and circa £35 million of royalties. Greg was also the Executive Producer of the Official BBC Children in Need single Peter Kay’s Animated All Star Band, which reached number one in the official singles chart for two weeks, and so far has raised £500,000 for the charity. Greg stepped down from Chapman Entertainment in 2011.

As a perceptive and incisive creative, Greg has a unique foresight to see the potential in media ideas and concepts, and the ability to create international entertainment franchises that resonate with global audiences. Through great leadership and astute business acumen, Greg is highly skilled at building teams that expertly, and with integrity, exploit and monetize brands.
