Creative Director

Tim is one of the most prolific international creative directors within the animation industry, with a track record of directing over 450 episodes of animated programming in an illustrious 17year career. With a notable collection of awards and nominations, he has entertained audiences and impressed his peers globally, and is widely recognized as a considerable talent and a valued creative leader of any production.


After an initial foray into the live action arena in factual programming and commercials, Tim’s career in animation started as a director of photography for Cosgrove Hall working on animated series for both the BBC and Gerry Anderson.  His directorial debut came in 2000, on the series “Rotten Ralph” for the BBC and Fox US, netting him 2 BAFTA nominations. With a quickly established reputation for excellence, Tim was suddenly a much sought after director and one success led to another. His status as a “creative and trusted talent” kept him at the core of the animation industry and he went on and directed “Andy Pandy”, “Little Robots”, “Fifi and the Flowetots”, “Roary the Racing Car”, “Raa Raa the Noisy Lion” and “Cloudbabies”. All of these shows have travelled the worlds’ territories and become global brands, and broadcasters have included the BBC, Fox US, ABC and Nickelodeon to name a few. Tim was also approached to direct he highly acclaimed “Peter Kay’s Animated All Star Band” for the BBC Children in Need appeal, which reached number one in the official singles chart for two weeks, and so far has raised in excess of £500,000 for the charity. Awards and nominations add depth and credence to a very proven track record, and these include 4 BAFTA nominations, 2 Royal Television Awards and multiple Royal Television Society Award nominations, numerous Broadcast Award nominations, British Animation Award nominations, Annecy nominations and a Pulcinella nomination.
